Die Schwungmasse des Hammer Cosmopolitan ist mit 12kg deutlich zu niedrig. Ein runder und komfortabler Bewegungsablauf ist auf diesem Crosstrainer nicht möglich. Der Trainingscomputer hat keine Programme zur Auswahl und bringt wenig Abwechslung ins Training. Der Ellipsentrainer ist ein Auslaufmodell und daher preiswert zu bekommen.

Der Crosstrainer Hammer Sonic bietet durch die hohe Schwungmasse von ca. 20kg einen runden Bewegungsablauf. Der Ellipsentrainer kann mit einem Gewicht bis zu 150kg belastet werden. Der Trainingscomputer zeigt Standardwerte an und bietet leider keine Trainingsprogramme. Ein Pulsempfänger für herzfrequenz-orientiertes ist nachrüstbar und zu empfehlen.

Der Trainingscomputer hat 4 Ausdauer- und 12 Fitnessprogramme integriert. Das Fitnessgerät eignet sich für therapeutisches Training und ist für Personen bis 150kg geeignet. Empfehlenswert.

Der Presidio ist das Topmodell von Hammer. Mit 22kg Schwungmasse ist es sehr komfortabel. Die stabile Verarbeitung lässt eine Belastung von bis zu 200kg zu. Das Fitnessgerät hat einen integriertem Pulsempfänger und bietet 12 verschiedene Berg- und Tal - Profile sowie pulsgesteuerte Trainingsprogramme. Der Ellipsentrainer ist für therapeutisches Training geeignet (Klasse A).
